Overview
The conference addressed questions pertaining to the theme of ‘Images, Icons and Idols’. Aspects explored included the imago dei, the image of God in wo/man and implications for different traditions of theological anthropology. As well as classic questions in aesthetics and the arts, the conference considered the circulation and dissemination of images in popular culture.
